Before you bring in your device
Follow these steps before you bring in your device for repairs. If your device won't turn on or respond, finish as many steps as possible:
- Back up your iOS device.
- Have your Apple ID password ready. For some repairs, you'll need your Apple ID password to erase your device and turn off Find My iPhone.*
- Bring your device and any accessories that you need help with.
- Bring a form of personal identification, like a driver’s license, passport, or other government-issued ID.
- Give us a call or schedule a reservation before you come in to have your phone fixed.
If your issue wasn’t caused by accidental damage and it’s covered by the limited one year warranty, or AppleCare+ there’s no charge. If your iPhone was damaged and you have AppleCare+, the coverage includes two incidents of accidental damage. Each incident has a service fee. If you don’t have AppleCare+, your repair fee will vary up to the out-of-warranty fee. Not sure if you’re covered? Check if you have AppleCare+ by entering your iPhone serial number on Apple's website here.
